What they are
Cookies are small text files a website saves on your device to remember something between one page and the next: the language you chose, what is in your basket, the fact that you have already expressed a privacy preference. Alongside cookies there are technologies that work the same way, such as measurement pixels: we treat them together here, because together is how they should be considered.
Necessary cookies
These make the shop work and require no consent: without them the basket, the currency or the language would stop behaving correctly.

Advertising on recipe pages
Articles on the Le Ricette di Vaigustando blog, that is, pages whose addresses begin with /blogs/le-ricette-di-vaigustando/, carry advertisements served by Google Ireland Limited through Google AdSense. This is the only part of the site that shows ads: product pages, collections, the basket, the checkout and the pages about our producers and territories do not show any.
On these pages, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet. The data processed may include identifiers stored in cookies, your IP address, information about your browser and device, and the page you are reading.
On these pages, consent is not given through the shop's banner. If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a separate message from Google asks for your consent on the first recipe you open. Personalised ads and advertising cookies start only if you consent, and the legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you do not consent, you may see non-personalised or limited ads, chosen on the basis of the page's content and without profiling.

You can turn off personalised ads from Google in Ads Settings, and those from other vendors at youronlinechoices.eu or aboutads.info.

How to change your mind
Withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it, and it is: the button below reopens the same panel you saw on your first visit, with the four categories kept separate. Your new choice takes effect immediately.
The button above does not change your choice about ads on recipe pages: that choice is managed in Google's message. To change it, open a recipe and use the Privacy and cookie settings link that Google shows in the bottom left-hand corner.
You can also delete cookies already installed from your browser settings. Bear in mind that removing _tracking_consent erases the memory of your choice, and the banner will appear again.
