Madre is the natural evolution of a vision that draws value from our history, our experiences, and even our mistakes. It begins with a historic grape variety, in the place where our father Italo was born, that the story of Madre takes shape. An elegant grape which, in its simplicity and natural character, revealed to us a new face, rich in flavors and aromas. A different path, one we chose to follow to create a wine that defies conventions and rules. A long journey in which we found the right balance, from the vineyard to the rest in the cellar, where time perfects it to be truly appreciated. A glass with an ancient, deep color that makes us feel at home.
A wine of great longevity, it offers harmony with aromas that find their proper place in balanced acidity, wrapped in an enveloping softness. Nothing is left to chance in dressing this special bottle. The blue is the same as the eyes of our mother Chiara. The color stands out on the wax seal and embraces the bottle with 100% organic wrapping. The label, simple and clean, expresses with a raised graphic sign the idea of an embrace. The embrace of a mother, the embrace of a flavor that welcomes us. On the nose it is elegant and generous, with remarkable aromatic expressiveness, reflecting its parentage.
The aromas of yellow peach, acacia, citron zest and aromatic herbs later, with aging, evolve into mineral and saline notes. On the palate it conveys great vitality, elegant and lively with an exhilarating freshness. Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs successfully with fish dishes, shellfish and seafood. Also outstanding with white meats, cured meats and blue cheeses, and delightful even on its own. We recommend tasting it in a large glass to fully capture its essence.
