DURLI’ Rosè Durello Brut Metodo Classico
The Product in Brief:
Durlì Rosé by Dama del Rovere is a Durello Brut Metodo Classico Rosé that originates from the volcanic hills of Roncà, in the heart of eastern Lessinia in the province of Verona. In this territory of the Lessini Mountains, Durella, an indigenous grape variety with natural acidity and a great aptitude for sparkling wine production, yields wines of great freshness and mineral tension. The vineyards are located in Brenton at an altitude of about 450 meters and include parcels ranging from 10 to 50 years old, trained in the "pergola trentina" system. A small percentage of Pinot Noir is blended with the Durella, lending the wine elegance, aromatic finesse, and its characteristic rosé color. After manual harvesting between late August and mid-September, vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then bottled and left to age on its lees for at least 15 months. This process allows the Durello Metodo Classico Rosé to develop a fine perlage, freshness, and a pleasant aromatic complexity, while maintaining the typical mineral imprint of Lessinia's volcanic soils.
