We are Cantina Muratori, a family deeply tied to the heart of Franciacorta, where for over twenty years we have expressed our passion through wines that embody the authentic values and identity of our land.
With the 2020 harvest, we took a decisive step, choosing to collaborate with the renowned winemaker Dr.
Riccardo Cotarella and his team of experts, to bring our production to new levels of excellence.

Our production philosophy is distinguished by a unique approach: we do not rely on the liqueur to define our Franciacorta, but we aim to enhance the base wine, the result of a rigorous selection of grapes.
Through this process, we want to enhance the authentic characteristics of our territory, offering a tasting experience that reflects our dedication to quality and tradition.

The Franciacorta Rosé from Cantina Muratori is a celebration of the elegance and structure of Franciacorta Pinot Noir.
Produced exclusively as Extra Brut, this category choice allows to best enhance the body and complexity of the grape variety, giving the wine a refined freshness and extraordinary persistence.

Produced mainly from Pinot Noir, a grape variety that provides structure, intensity and a refined acidity, creating a perfect balance between body and freshness. After a rigorous selection of the grapes, the Rosé ages on the lees for at least 24 months, acquiring complexity and a rich and balanced taste profile.

On the nose, the bouquet is fresh and clean, with delicate notes of white peach, fresh citrus fruits and a subtle floral nuance.
On the palate, this Franciacorta Rosé stands out for its good consistency and intensity, with a well-balanced acidity that makes it fresh and vibrant.
The structure of the Pinot Noir is clearly perceived, offering a solid body and an elegant persistence.

Perfect with fish and meat carpaccio, Muratori Franciacorta Rosé also pairs very well with cuts of meat and tomato-based first courses, enhancing the flavours without covering them, thanks to its freshness and structure. A Rosé with great character, which best represents the potential of Pinot Noir in Franciacorta, ideal for accompanying both elegant aperitifs and refined lunches and dinners.

The Producer

Muratori is much more than a winery: it is a true story of passion and dedication that has its roots in Villa Crespia, in the heart of Franciacorta, a physical place that represents the beating heart of our company.

Our adventure began over twenty years ago, when we decided to transform our family passion into a business reality strongly anchored to the Franciacorta territory.

We made a fundamental choice between 1999 and 2002, carefully deciding where to plant our vineyards to best represent the variety of soil and climate of Franciacorta. Our vineyards, located in different areas, extend up to an altitude of 350 meters above sea level, with exposures also towards the north, towards the picturesque Lake Iseo. This choice allows us to grow grapes with unique characteristics, reflecting the complexity of the Franciacorta landscape.

We have carefully selected the lands where we will plant our vineyards, representing all six vocational units of Franciacorta: Depositi Fini, Fluvio Glaciale, Colluvi Distali, Morenico Profondo, Colluvi Gradonati and Morenico Sottile. This diversification is a reflection of our constant search for variety and authenticity, which is a key element in our mission to produce excellent Franciacorta.

Our winery is a harmonious synthesis between tradition and modernity, with a careful eye on environmental sustainability. We manage our vineyards organically and are proudly self-sufficient in terms of energy thanks to an innovative agri-photovoltaic system that extends over the vineyards themselves.

Starting with the 2020 harvest, we are honored to be able to count on the consultancy of the renowned Dr. Riccardo Cotarella, a leading figure in the world of winemaking. Dr. Cotarella and his team of expert collaborators share with us the passion for Franciacorta and the love for its grapes, helping to bring the quality of our wines to new levels of excellence.
