We are Cantina Muratori, a family deeply tied to the heart of Franciacorta, where for over twenty years we have expressed our passion through wines that embody the authentic values and identity of our land.
With the 2020 harvest, we took a decisive step, choosing to collaborate with the renowned winemaker Dr.
Riccardo Cotarella and his team of experts, to bring our production to new levels of excellence.

Our production philosophy is distinguished by a unique approach: we do not rely on the liqueur to define our Franciacorta, but we aim to enhance the base wine, the result of a rigorous selection of grapes.
Through this process, we want to enhance the authentic characteristics of our territory, offering a tasting experience that reflects our dedication to quality and tradition.

Franciacorta Satèn from Cantina Muratori represents one of the most refined expressions of the territory, an exclusive type of Franciacorta that stands out for its elegance and softness.
Satèn is a Brut, which expresses all its refinement and freshness, with a soft and velvety profile.
Produced exclusively with 100% Chardonnay grapes and with reduced pressure in the bottle, which gives the wine a more delicate and silky perlage.

On the palate, Satèn is soft and harmonious, with a perfect balance between freshness and roundness.
The fine, creamy bubbles delicately caress the palate, offering a silky sensation and an elegant finish.

After careful fermentation, the wine ages on the lees for at least 24 months, developing complexity and depth without losing its characteristic silkiness.

Franciacorta Satèn is the perfect match for refined dishes such as shellfish, oysters and raw fish.
Its delicacy makes it ideal for enhancing the natural flavour of ingredients, without overpowering the taste.

The Producer

Muratori is much more than a winery: it's a true story of passion and dedication rooted in Villa Crespia, in the heart of Franciacorta, a physical location that represents the beating heart of our company. Our adventure began over twenty years ago, when we decided to transform our family passion into a business firmly rooted in the Franciacorta terroir. We made a crucial decision between 1999 and 2002, carefully selecting where to plant our vineyards to best represent Franciacorta's diverse soil and climate. Our vineyards, located in various zones, extend up to an altitude of 350 meters above sea level, with exposures also facing north toward the picturesque Lake Iseo. This choice allows us to grow grapes with unique characteristics, reflecting the complexity of the Franciacorta landscape.
We have carefully selected the lands on which to plant our vineyards, representing all six of Franciacorta's vocational units: Fine Deposits, Glacial Fluvium, Distal Colluvi, Deep Morainic, Graded Colluvi, and Thin Morainic.

This diversification reflects our constant pursuit of variety and authenticity, which is a key element in our mission to produce excellent Franciacorta. Our winery is a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, with a keen eye for environmental sustainability. We manage our vineyards organically and are proudly self-sufficient in energy thanks to an innovative photovoltaic system that extends across the vineyards. Starting with the 2020 harvest, we are honored to be able to count on the consultancy of the renowned Dr. Riccardo Cotarella, a leading figure in the world of winemaking. Dr. Cotarella and his team of expert collaborators share our passion for Franciacorta and our love for its grapes, helping to elevate the quality of our wines to new levels of excellence.
