The Pedemontana Veneta is a charming and welcoming landscape located between the provinces of Treviso and Vicenza, in the Veneto region. This area combines landscape, culture, and development prospects in a unique setting. A new highway runs through the Pedemontana Veneta, a major infrastructure linking 36 municipalities between Vicenza and Treviso, improving mobility and reducing traffic in residential areas. The Pedemontana Veneta is characterized by the presence of 97 Venetian Villas, architectural masterpieces located no more than 2 km from the highway.

These villas are among the 1,769 in the foothills and 3,828 scattered throughout the region. The region is also renowned for its rich food and wine heritage, with 153 specialty products within a 5 km radius of the highway. Among these, 9 DOP products, 5 IGP products, 4 DOCG wines, 8 DOC, 4 IGT wines, 119 traditional agri-food products, and 4 Slow Food Presidia stand out. The Pedemontana Veneta offers a wide range of high-quality wines, cheeses, vegetables, cured meats, and delicacies, including, to name a few, Asiago DOP cheese, grappa and fruit distillates, Sopressa DOP, extra virgin olive oil, and Prosecco DOCG di Valdobbiadene and Asolo.

In addition to the aforementioned Prosecco, appreciated and exported worldwide, in recent years, native grape varieties that had been forgotten have been re-evaluated, including Recantina and Rabbiosa dei Colli Asolani (Pat del Colmel). In short, the Pedemontana Veneta is an unmissable tourist destination for lovers of culture, architecture, and food and wine. Thanks to the highway, visitors can easily explore the region's beauties, discover the Venetian Villas, and savor the many local delicacies. The typical products of the Pedemontana Veneta, which encompasses hilly and mountainous areas, reflect the richness and identity of a vast land with ancient agricultural and pastoral traditions.

The Producer

Exploring the beating heart of the Veneto region, we encounter the province of Treviso, a hidden gem where history, culture, and food and wine traditions blend into a unique, unforgettable sensory experience. And in this uniquely vibrant setting, the food company SOLOTREVISO® emerges, embodying the art and passion of Treviso cuisine. The Sile River flows through Treviso, a vital artery that flows sinuously, nourishing the land and carrying with it an aura of ancient legends and stories. It is this river that, with its purifying waters, helps make the Treviso soil so fertile, perfect for growing radicchio, the undisputed king of the local cuisine. Radicchio, with its purplish hue and distinctive flavor, is like a jewel grown on the banks of the Sile, a symbol of harmony between man and nature. Modernity, with its frenetic and often impersonal pace, risks causing us to lose the roots and traditions that define who we are. But SOLOTREVISO® firmly opposes this trend.

This isn't just a brand: it's an epic, a journey, a return to our roots. SOLOTREVISO® is dedicated to rediscovering and celebrating the authentic flavors of Treviso, bringing the best this land, blessed by the Sile River, has to offer to tables around the world. Behind every SOLOTREVISO® product is a story: golden wheat fields stretching to the horizon, ancient recipes passed down from generation to generation, expert hands working with dedication and love. The carefully selected network of local suppliers reflects the brand's philosophy: only the best, always. And this translates into unparalleled products: from handmade pasta made with ancient techniques, to unique radicchio and green asparagus sauces, to jams and compotes, where every spoonful captures the essence of Treviso. Let yourself be seduced by traditional bigoli, a dive into Veneto's culinary past. Embrace the sophistication of mustards and compotes, such as the enveloping green tomato one or the sweet and complex strawberry and Raboso one.

And then there's SOLOROSSO®, the product line dedicated to red radicchio, the region's true culinary jewel, washed by the waters of the Sile River. On warm summer days in Treviso, as laughter echoes through historic alleys and piazzas, the tradition of homemade pasta continues in local kitchens. You can almost see the grandmothers of old kneading the durum wheat semolina, drying the pasta under a cloth. And then, a triumph of flavors: tagliolini infused with late-season red radicchio and enhanced with Glera wine, a dish that sings the praises of Treviso tradition. The sauces? Each jar is a journey through the landscapes of Treviso, from the bittersweet radicchio to the rustic flavor of luganega sausage, to the springtime aroma of asparagus. SOLOTREVISO® now, thanks to the integration with Vaigustando, lets you have a piece of Treviso delivered directly to your door, no matter where you are. A taste of Veneto, without having to leave the comfort of your living room.
