The Producer

In the heart of the Prosecco hills, in Colbertaldo, a small village nestled among the gently sloping slopes, the Micel winery finds its home. This picturesque village is located in the Prosecco Superiore di Conegliano Valdobbiadene area, a region so extraordinary it has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Colbertaldo's charm lies in its privileged location, surrounded by lush green hills, where vineyards climb skyward, embraced by the sun's rays and caressed by the cool breezes wafting down from the Alps. This unique microclimate, characterized by significant temperature variations between day and night, combined with the mineral-rich soils and the tireless spirit of its inhabitants, gives Colbertaldo wines a unique and unmistakable personality. Here, among the rows of Glera vines and centuries-old vineyards, the Micel winery continues an ancient tradition, passed down from generation to generation. The MICÉL brand is the result of the passion of Michele Rasera, a young winemaker who inherited the wisdom of his grandfather Egidio, a passionate cellar master who mastered the art of transforming grapes into wine. Michele wasn't content to simply learn from family traditions. From an early age, he demonstrated an innate curiosity for the world of agriculture and winemaking. After studying to become an agricultural expert, he decided to put what he learned into practice, opening his own winery at just 20 years old, using the vineyards inherited from his grandfather Egidio.

Michele's philosophy has always been clear: to create excellent wines that express the history and beauty of his homeland. This is why he chose to focus on the DOCG and DOC zones, knowing that only from these lands can a truly extraordinary wine be born. And it is precisely here, among the gentle curves of the vineyards and the intense scent of wildflowers, that the Micel winery creates extraordinary wines, capable of captivating palates around the world with their elegance and authenticity. The Millesimato Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry embodies the essence of the highest hills, with its elegant aromas and unmistakable freshness. Meanwhile, the naturally fermented Frizzante DOC Nonno G., the result of an ancient technique passed down from generation to generation, enchants palates with its freshness and vivacity. But the Micel winery doesn't stop there. The Millesimato Valdobbiadene Superiore DOCG Brut, a sincere wine with a fresh, fruity flavor and delicate aromas, and the Bianco Pacifico continue the legacy of quality and passion, with their delicate aromas and balanced flavors, ready to accompany every special moment. Meanwhile, the Moro Gino, a powerful red wine produced with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Asolo hills, with its bold character and enveloping aromas, makes its way into the most exquisite dishes, bringing with it the authentic taste of the land. In every sip, in every glass, lies the story of a land and a family that has made a passion for the land and wine its raison d'être. And it is precisely this passion that is transformed into every bottle, offering unique emotions and flavors, capable of winning the hearts of anyone privileged to taste them.
