Garganega Verona IGT
The Product in Brief:
Redalmo's Garganega Verona IGT is born in the heart of the classic Soave area, in Monteforte d’Alpone, from estate vineyards cultivated on volcanic soils of basaltic origin. A historic and highly suitable territory that gives the wine a distinct mineral imprint and an elegant tension, making it one of the most authentic expressions of the Garganega grape. The vines, with varying ages up to 30-40 years, root themselves in rich and deep soils, capable of enhancing freshness, savoriness, and aromatic complexity. The result is a white wine that combines immediacy and precision, with a strong territorial identity.
In the glass, it presents a bright straw yellow. The nose expresses elegance, with notes of white-fleshed fruit and a clear mineral imprint. On the palate, it is harmonious, savory, and fresh, with well-integrated acidity and a finish characterized by the typical bitter almond note, a distinctive signature of Garganega. Aging in steel tanks on fine lees for about 5-6 months, accompanied by weekly bâtonnage, contributes to structure, balance, and a pleasant persistence. A versatile and refined wine, perfect for accompanying convivial moments and traditional dishes.
