A study of the vine that lasted years, a knowledge that every day has become clearer and clearer and that has shown us the way to create what at that moment was not yet in our imagination.
Yet with naturalness and anticipation the TesiRare line was born, sincere wines that tell the secrets of our territory with every sip.
Merlot “tulipe” Deep blue acids that hide a thousand facets: the Merlot grape, our passion and time has given us the true essence of this wine.
RompiCapo is intense, authentic and powerful like the will that supported us in creating it.
From the perfect balance between raw materials and time comes the maximum expression of an international grape variety that has found new notes and accents in our territory.
Pure Merlot matured in tulips: the strength of the Piave, the tenacity of our passion.
The wine has a beautiful intense ruby red color with garnet reflections.
On the nose it expresses aromas of small red berries, aromas of soft spices and floral nuances.
On the palate it has a good body, with very harmonious and persuasive aromas, a rich, ripe fruit and a fine and elegant tannic texture.
The finish is very balanced in taste, with pleasant freshness and flavour.
It pairs very well with red meat, game and tasty cheeses.
Serve at a temperature of 16/18° C in a Barbaresco glass.
Grape variety: 100% Merlot
Production area: Fagarè vineyard, parcel 263 in the Treviso area, organic cultivation method - Green manure with Facelia.
Land characteristics: Clayey soil, spurred cordon training system, 7500 vines per hectare.

Serving temperature: 16°-18° C, in Barbaresco glasses.
Alcohol Content: 14.00%
Aging: In tonneaux for 6 months.
Winemaking Notes: Maceration on the skins and spontaneous fermentation in non-vitrified cement for 25 days.
Slow alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature and malolactic fermentation always in concrete tanks in contact with its own yeasts.
Finishes maturation in tonneaux for 6 months.
Yield per hectare: Yield per plant 1kg.
Harvest period: Entirely manual harvest with selection of bunches in the vineyard, third ten days of September.
Pairings It goes very well with red meat and game second courses.
Excellent with aged or spicy cheeses.
Interesting with a mixed cold cuts platter.
