Monferrato DOC Rosso Tabàr - Selezione
The Product in Brief:
The Monferrato DOC Rosso Selezione by Tenuta Vallone is born in the heart of Gran Monferrato, a territory of extraordinary viticultural value where tradition and oenological research meet to create wines with a strong territorial identity. This wine represents an authentic synthesis of the local varietal heritage, obtained from a blend of Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Albarossa, in varying percentages depending on the vintage, with the aim of expressing balance, harmony, and complexity. The production approach is based on a rigorous selection of grapes and careful winemaking, aimed at enhancing the distinctive characteristics of each grape variety. Aging takes place initially in stainless steel for 13 months, in order to preserve aromatic freshness and expressive precision. This is followed by a further 10 months of aging in small oak barrels (barriques and tonneaux), which guides the wine towards greater finesse and taste balance.
In the glass, it presents an intense ruby color. The aromatic profile is broad and harmonious, with notes of strawberry, cherry, and red flowers. On the palate, it expresses a balanced softness, supported by good freshness and a structure that makes the sip pleasant, dynamic, and persistent.
