Nordera Riserva Raboso Piave DOC
The Product in Brief:
This Raboso Piave DOC from the Caneva dei Biasio winery is born along the banks of the river Piave, a great land of Raboso and the historic cradle of this native Venetian grape. The grapes, picked at full ripeness, are vinified with prolonged maceration to draw out colour and structure. The wine matures for 24 months in large oak casks and then a few months in the bottle, developing elegance and complexity. It shows a deep ruby red colour, turning garnet with age. On the nose it offers a vinous aroma typical of the variety, with hints of violet growing more intense over time. On the palate it is dry, warm and soft, with elegant tannins and a structure balanced between savouriness and freshness.
